Recruiting

The Fire Department is always looking for new volunteers. The Department ensures that new fire fighters are prepared through an 8 – 10 week training Academy. The most recent Academy completed training in April, 2024. However, the Department will accommodate enthusiastic new recruits whenever they wish to join. There are many tasks required to keep the Fire Department running smoothly. Not all of them are fire fighting: Upkeep and maintenance of facilities and equipment, records management, and internet and communications are among the many skills we need to function.
